Overview
This project explored a collaborative robot that can be guided physically through a task rather than requiring each motion to be entered manually. The goal was to make robot teaching more intuitive while combining mechanism design, motion, sensing, and task programming in one mechatronic system.
Engineering focus
The system focused on capturing a user-guided sequence of poses and turning it into repeatable robotic motion. The work combined mechanical integration, end-effector considerations, robot programming, and predictable motion around a human operator.
Related robotics work
My other hands-on projects include a river-cleaning robot for floating-waste removal, a mobile mini-gripper robot for obstacle-course navigation and payload handling, a sensor-based color-sorting conveyor, and a custom end-effector for a tyre-changing robot.
Industrial robotics experience
At Cybernetik Technologies I programmed an ABB industrial robot using Python for palletization tasks and gained hands-on exposure to industrial automation workflows, robot integration, and safety practices.
